Non-Fiction Book Cover

I created an alternative book cover for the book “Brain on Fire” by Susannah Cahalan. The book is about the authors experience battling an illness that compromises her brain functions. I used a CT scan of various sections of the brain and used software to color edit the image so that it uses the colors associated to danger. The dark reds and maroons play into the word fire in the title without going in a literal approach, while the CT scan directly relates to the title of the book and clearly shows the medical plot of the story.
