Hello all! My name is Kaylin Anderson, I use she/they pronouns and have just recently graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BFA in graphic design in 2022. When I am asked to describe my style, the phrase heavy-handed come to mind. I enjoy bringing an illustrative element to the majority of my works, through charcoal or ink brushes that imitate the emotions that traditional painters imbed in their art. I also gravitate to rich colors that create a bold impression. My inspiration for this heavy-handed style comes from a variety of sources such as videogame art, fantasy and sci-fy concept art, anime, and fanart. From these forms of art, I find the imaginary and creative freedom to be at its max, I and I am constantly finding new ideas and techniques to apply to my own work. My work continues to expand and develop, just as the world around me continues to grow and create new areas of inspiration. As I move forward, I am excited to see where I will go, and how my work will continue to transform.
